So...my two cents on digital images...

There are hundreds of sites and online shops right now offering portraits for $35 or less. They look convincing — until you understand it's all digital. You upload your photo, click a button to pay, and AI builds a perfect clone, in whatever medium you tell it to use. That's fine if that's all you want... I do believe that AI has its perks. But I don't use that here, and I never will.

Every portrait I create starts with a blank piece of heavy drawing paper, a graphite pencil, and the photo you trusted me with. I study your pet — the way their eyes carry a whole personality, the shadows and reflections, the specific angle of their ears, the subtle expression that makes you say "Yes — that's THEM."

I draw that. By hand. With time, care, and a deep love for this art and this process that no algorithm has ever possessed. That's not a marketing claim. It's how I feel about what I do. And I think you and your pet deserve it.
