I love working with all art mediums, but graphite and pastels are my favorite, both in pencils and powder form. I feel like the black and greyscale graphite really pulls the form and texture beautifully, and the rich colors of pastels let me pull all the layers that make up every detail of each animal.

My goal as an artist is to create a keepsake that captures your pet's personality, not just their pose. I've always believed that animals speak in a language deeper than words. Drawing them is my way of listening.

With every portrait I create, I aim to preserve the essence of their spirit through quiet layers of detail and care—the sparkle in their eyes, the subtle gestures that make them who they are. I truly feel like I get to know animals that I’ve ever met. When you stare into eyes for hours at a time and study every detail of their face, it’s impossible not to feel connected. 

This work is personal to me.
