Hi, I’m Sharla, and I can’t wait to work with you! I live and work in Texas with my husband and my wildebeest of a chocolate lab, Willow.

I’m an artist on several levels, I’ve done every craft a human can do, every type of art, made jewelry, written books, but drawing has always been my go-to. I can get lost in it, just ask my husband. 🙄😘

I’ve always felt more connected to animals than people lol. Their unique personalities, quirks, and silent expressions are a magical language.

Capturing these moments on paper is a gift to me. With every portrait I do, I aim to preserve the essence of their spirit—the sparkle in their eyes, the subtle gestures that make them who they are. I truly feel like I get to know animals that I’ve ever met. When you stare into eyes for hours at a time and study every detail of their face, it’s impossible not to feel connected.
